Hi Reader,
I was out riding my bike at sunrise the other morning when Mother Nature got my attention. The sky was spectacular, the fall leaves were putting on an incredible show, and the sun gave me a big, beautiful smile.
All of this happened without a project plan, a status meeting, or anyone sending a reminder email. Nature clearly has her act together.
I thought about something else that happens without much effort on your part. Every week, my emails magically appear in your inbox. Well, except there’s a little effort involved on my end!
And you take the time to read them, send me witty replies, leave comments, and suggest new topics for me to explore.
This week, I want to say thank you. I’m grateful for each and every one of you. You make this writing thing a whole lot more fun.
Thank you to my colleagues, who often are the subject of my project adventures, for having such a good sense of humour and going along with my sometimes silly flow.
Thank you to my business partners, who must sometimes scratch their heads wondering which direction I’ll head next, yet continue to support me along the way.
And thanks to my friends who hang out with me, do something fun, and then say, “Hey Barb, you could write a story about this!”
So, consider this week’s newsletter a little love letter to all of you. I appreciate you more than you know.
Next week, I’ll have some news about Projects Pivot. It’s big, it’s a little sad, and it’s something I’ve been thinking about for a while.
Stay tuned.
